2022 Enoch & Dead Sea Scroll Calendar

According to the Dead Sea Scroll Temple Calendar, this year New Year’s Day begins at sunrise on March 16th. The Dead Sea Scrolls and Enoch both show us that the calendar was solar and they used the signs of the moon as a tool. Since 2022 is a lunar cycle one year, on the first day of the year there will be a full moon.  During lunar cycle one years the sun and moon will both be in the position they were placed at creation.  New Year’s Day is always the 4th day of the week since the sun was created on the 4th day of creation.  Today we call the 4th day of the week Wednesday.

The feast days for 2022/2023 are as shown below plus more details about them are on this page.

The printed calendar you purchase at the store always shows the dates for London, England’s moon phases because London time is considered Universal Time. The dates for the moon phases will also not be correct since they do not use the same calculations as the Dead Sea Scroll dates. The Dead Scroll moon calculation reflects that the moon repeats its cycles every 3 years.  Today’s calendars repeat the moon’s cycles every 19 years using the Gregorian calendar.  In fact all sun and moon calculators are based on a 365.25 day tropical year.  The Dead Sea Scroll Temple Calendar is based on a sidereal year of 364 days.  So on Wednesday March 16, 2022 go out at night and see if you think the moon is full or not.

The table below reflects the fact that all time is local and based on latitude and longitude. People who live on the Tropic of Cancer will have more equal night and day than others as the table shows.  The etymology of the word equinox shows this word comes from Latin and means equal night; on this date the day and night should be close to equal.

The best ways to determine the first day of the year is by analyzing the moon phases since the moon can be used as a tool to ensure your calendar is correct.  The incorrect tools and calendars we are provided this year show a full moon on the 18th of March which is a Friday so we know this must be one to two days off depending on where you live since New Year’s must always be on a Wednesday.  The time of the full moon in Canada and the United States is before sun rise therefore the date will not be the 18th yet and should be considered the 17th. A Sidereal day is 23 hours and 56 minutes; therefore equal day and night is 11 hours and 58 minutes.

The March 2022 Gregorian calendar reflects that the new moon and full moons are one to two days different than the Dead Sea Scrolls Temple Calendar, as shown below.

The April 2022 Gregorian calendar also reflects that the new moon and full moons are one to two days different than the Dead Sea Scrolls Temple Calendar, as shown below.

Reflected below is a picture of the Heavens as the sun is rising on the first day of spring.  Venus leads the way and was known as the light bringer.  More information about Venus is on this page.

As the sun sets that evening, the full moon will rise in Leo.

So I do feel comfortable that I will be celebrating the feast days on the correct appointed dates according to the Dead Sea Scrolls Temple Calendar.  Last year I went into greater detail on how the Dead Sea Scrolls Calendar works using the moon as a tool, so if you would like more information please see this page.   If you would like to know more about the Enoch and Dead Sea Scrolls Calendars, please see this page.
