The traditions that were performed at Queen Elizabeth II’s
coronation ceremony have been handed down over the centuries from her ancestors
who were kings and queens before her.
These traditions come directly from the #bible starting with the anointing
of King David, whom Queen Elizabeth II descends from.
2 Samuel 7: 16
And thine house and thy kingdom shall be
established for ever before thee: thy throne shall be established for ever.
17 According to all these words, and according to all this vision, so did
Nathan speak unto David.
As long as there is day and night, a
descendant of David will be on the throne.
Jeremiah 33:19 The word of the Lord came to Jeremiah: 20 "Thus says
the Lord: If you can break my covenant with the day and my covenant with the
night, so that day and night will not come at their appointed time, 21 then
also my covenant with David my servant may be broken, so that he shall not have
a son to reign on his throne, and my covenant with the Levitical priests my
ministers. 22 As the host of heaven
cannot be numbered and the sands of the sea cannot be measured, so I will
multiply the offspring of David my servant, and the Levitical priests who
minister to me."
Queen Elizabeth’s coronation was the first to be on
television and her father’s coronation was the first to be filmed. Therefore we can look back at the coronation
and see all the traditions that were taken directly from the bible and were
included in the ceremony.

Since King David the bible shows that there were
good and evil kings. During the
coronation ceremony, Queen Elizabeth II took an oath, as follows:
Archbishop of Canterbury: Will you solemnly promise and swear to govern the Peoples of the United
Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, Canada, Australia, New Zealand,
The Union of South Africa, Pakistan and Ceylon, and of your Possessions and the
other Territories to any of them belonging or pertaining, according to their respective laws and customs?
Queen: I solemnly promise so to do.
Archbishop: Will you to your power cause Law and Justice, in Mercy, to be executed in all your judgements?
Queen: I will.
Archbishop: Will you to the utmost of your power maintain the Laws of God and the true profession of the Gospel? Will you to the utmost of your power maintain in the United Kingdom the Protestant Reformed Religion established by law? Will you maintain and preserve inviolably the settlement of the Church of England, and the doctrine, worship, discipline, and government thereof, as by law established in England? And will you preserve unto the Bishops and Clergy of England, and to the Churches there committed to their charge, all such rights and privileges, as by law do or shall appertain to them or any of them?
Queen: All this I promise to do.
Queen Elizabeth
cannot serve two masters, Yahweh and the laws of nations. In the oath she said she would keep true to
the gospel and the government of the church, however, there is no such thing as
a Archbishop in the bible. There is no
way that Queen Elizabeth II can be a good queen following Yahweh’s laws if she
is going to abide to this oath.
Matthew 6:24 No man can serve two masters: for
either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the
one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.
Queen Elizabeth II’s oath should have only been to serve Yahweh and follow
his laws. The oath she took was devised
so that she cannot remove the high places as many of the kings before her were
prevented from doing.
Regarding King Jehoshaphat 2 Chron 20:32 he walked in the way of Asa his father, and departed not from it,
doing that which was right in the sight of the Lord. 33 Howbeit the high places were not taken away: for
as yet the people had not prepared their hearts unto the God of their fathers.
Notice the lion of Judah, the Unicorn of Joseph, the harp of
David and the crown.
