Usury is interest
paid on borrowed money or charging money for the use of money. Our God is
very much against his people charging interest to others. Historically, Christians were not allowed to
charge usury or interest for the use of money.
Today we borrow money to purchase houses and we allow the Federal
Reserve System to charge usury for the use of American dollars.
Exodus 22:25 If thou lend money to any of my people that is poor by
thee, thou shalt not be to him as an usurer, neither shalt thou lay upon him
usury.
Due 23:19 Thou shalt not lend upon usury to thy brother; usury of money, usury of victuals, usury of any thing that is lent upon usury:20
Unto a stranger thou mayest lend upon usury;
but unto thy brother thou shalt not lend upon usury.
Psalm 15:4 He who keeps an oath even when it hurts,
and does't change; 5 He who doesn' t lend out his money for usury,
Nor take a bribe against the innocent. He who does these things shall never be
shaken.
Jesus & the Jewish Money Changers
Jesus only violent act was driving out the Jewish merchants and money changers out of the temple. Four days after this act, he was hung on the
cross. The Jews were the
ones requesting that Yehshua (Jesus) be crucified.
Bible scriptures regarding the money changers and requesting his crucifixion:
Mathew 21:12
Jesus entered into the temple of
God, and drove out all of those who sold and
bought in the temple, and overthrew the
money- changers 'tables and the seats of those who sold the doves. 13 He
said to them, "It is written,' My house shall be called a house of prayer,
'but you have made it a den of robbers!"
John 2:13
The Passover of
the Jews was
at hand, and Jesus went
up to Jerusalem. 14 He found in the temple those
who sold oxen, sheep, and doves, and the changers of money sitting. 15 He made a whip of cords, and
threw all out of the temple, both the sheep and the oxen; and he poured out the
changers 'money, and overthrew their tables. 16 To those who sold the doves, he
said, "Take these things out of here! Don't make my Father's house a
marketplace!"
John 7:1 1
After these things, Jesus was walking in Galilee, for he wouldn't walk in Judea, because the Jews sought to kill him.
John 19:1
So Pilate then
took Jesus, and flogged him. 2 The soldiers twisted
thorns into a crown, and put it on his head, and dressed him in a purple
garment. 3 They kept saying, "Hail, King of the Jews!" and they kept slapping him. 4 Then
Pilate went out again, and said to them, "Behold, I bring him out to you,
that you may know that I find no basis for a charge against him." 5 Jesus
therefore came out, wearing the crown of thorns and the purple garment. Pilate
said to them, "Behold, the man!" 6 When therefore the chief priests
and the officers saw him, they shouted, saying, "Crucify! Crucify!"
Pilate said to them, "Take him yourselves, and crucify him, for I find no
basis for a charge against him." 7 The Jews answered him, "We have a
law, and by our law he ought to die, because he made himself the Son of God." 8 When therefore Pilate heard this
saying, he was more afraid. 9 He entered into the Praetorium again, and said to
Jesus, "Where are you from?" But Jesus gave him no answer. 10 Pilate
therefore said to him, "Aren 't you speaking to me? Don't you know that I
have power to release you, and have power to crucify you?" 11 Jesus
answered, "You would have no power at all against me, unless it were given
to you from above. Therefore he who delivered me to you has greater sin." 12 At this, Pilate was seeking to
release him, but the Jews cried out, saying, "If you release this man, you
aren 't Caesar's friend! Everyone who makes himself a king speaks against
Caesar!" 13 When Pilate therefore heard these words, he brought Jesus out,
and sat down on the judgment seat at a place called "The
Pavement," but in Hebrew, "Gabbatha."
Historically Christians were Against Usury
Below are just a few historical events that show Christians
were against usury:
In
325AD, the First
Council of Nicaea made ‘prohibition of usury
among the clergy’ one of the church laws. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/First_Council_of_Nicaea
In 1215AD, the Magna Carta reflects that the people of England were Christians. The
Magna Carta reflects that the Christians could not charge usury as stated
in the Old Testament, however, the Jews could.
From
Wikipedia: Clauses 10 and 11 related to
money lending and
Jews in England. Jews were
particularly involved in money lending because Christian teachings on usury did not apply to them. Clause 10 said that children would not pay
interest on a debt they had inherited while they were under age. Clause 11 said
that the widow and children should be provided for before paying an inherited
debt. The charter concludes this section with the words "Debts owing to
other than Jews shall be dealt with likewise", so it is debatable to what
extent the Jews were being singled out by these clauses. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Magna_Carta
In 1290, King Edward I issued an edict expelling all Jews from England. Jews acquired a reputation as extortionate
moneylenders which made
them extremely unpopular with both the church and the general public. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Edict_of_Expulsion
In
1306, Philip the Fair expelled the Jews from France. With the Jews gone, Philip appointed
royal guardians to collect the loans made by the Jews, and the money was
passed to the Crown. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Philip_IV_of_France
In 1543, Martin Luther made the follow recommendation regarding the
Jews:
Sixth, I advise that usury be prohibited
to them,
and that all cash and treasure of silver and gold be taken from them and put aside for
safekeeping. The reason for such a measure is that, as said above, they have no other means of earning a
livelihood than usury, and by it they have
stolen and robbed from us all they possess. Such money should now be used in no
other way than the following: Whenever a Jew is sincerely converted, he should be handed
one hundred, two hundred, or three hundred florins, as personal circumstances
may suggest. With this he could set himself up in some occupation for the
support of his poor wife and children, and the maintenance of the old or
feeble. For such evil gains are cursed if they are not put to use with God's blessing in a good and worthy
cause. From http://www.biblebelievers.org.au/luther.htm
In 1654, Colonial
governor Peter
Stuyvesant of New Netherland (New York), received complaints about the Jews’ arrival and attempted to have the
Jews expelled. He wrote a letter to the directors of the Dutch West
India Company dated September
22, 1654:
The Jews who have arrived would nearly all like to
remain here, but learning that they (with their customary usury and deceitful
trading with the Christians) were very
repugnant to the inferior magistrates, as also to the people having the most
affection for you; the Deaconry also fearing that owing to their present
indigence they might become a charge in the coming winter, we have, for the
benefit of this weak and newly developing place and the land in general, deemed
it useful to require them in a friendly way to depart, praying also most
seriously in this connection, for ourselves as also for the general community
of your worships, that the deceitful
race—such hateful enemies and blasphemers of the name of Christ—be not allowed to further infect and trouble this new
colony to the detraction of your worships and the dissatisfaction of your
worships' most affectionate subjects.
Because we do not know our history with these money changers, so we keep repeating it.

Old News
Below are old newspaper articles regarding Central or National
Banks and the Rothchilds. This type of
news article is no longer in our newspapers since the privately owned Federal
Reserve System and the Banks control the news.
The Federal Reserve makes lots of money charging usury so they are able
to buy and control all TV and Newspaper news today.
1842, in column2, the editor states after the governor’s message, “Suppose that be true,
Governor, and what does it prove? That a
National Bank is a very dangerous, ruinous institution; for whenever its
charter expires, the effects of its corrupt conduct is seen as a blight upon all
departments of business for years afterwards.
1843, in column4, see ‘The Ghost of the Late National Bank’
1860, in column5, see ‘The Money King’. It states the
house of Rothchild are the most powerful.
They have absorbed most of the gold and silver of the world. No nation can go to war in Europe without
their sovereign permission.
1863, in column4, see ‘House of Rothchild’ regarding their Jewish banking dynasty history.
1871, in column 3,
see ‘Who are a Temperate People! The Jews.
This article talks about banking and wall street.
1874, in column3, see ‘A Family of Bankers’ regarding the Rothchilds.
1908, in column4, see ‘Central US Bank Scheme Not New’ regarding the US central bank history. We had two prior central banks that congress
allowed to expire after a 20 year term.
Curses
Because we have not followed God's law, so we are now receiving the curses in Deuteronomy chapter 28. This curse is specific to usury:Due 28:43 The sojourner who is among you shall rise higher and higher above you, and you shall come down lower and lower. 44 He shall lend to you, and you shall not lend to him. He shall be the head, and you shall be the tail.
For the rest of the curses, see this page.
Today
Today the Jewish Money Changers are now in charge of America’s
money and we are 17 trillion in debt.
The Jews are also in charge of most of the money in the world. The Federal Reserve Act was passed in 1913
and in 1914 we had our first world war.
We have been continually at war with another county since then or we at
least had some kind bogey man threatening us.
Wars raise the national debt and make them lots of money.
Federal Reserve Chairs of the Board of Governors:
Americans would not be enslaved to our mortgages and the 17 trillion dollar debt if we obeyed God's laws of Moses.
