2017-2018 Christian Solar Feast Days (obsolete)

Please see my new page here for 2018.

Overview

One of the most important biblical laws is that we must observe the feast days (Exo 12:17, Exo 34:22, Lev 23:14, Lev 23:21, Lev 23:31: Lev 23:41).  The Feast Days are Holy Days that our God, Ho Theos (Greek), instructed as to observe forever. The word Holiday comes from the words Holy Day. Below are the Holy Feast Days we are instructed to observe based on the New Year starting on the spring equinox.   These are Christian Holy Days that must be celebrated as the new Christ believing Apostles did at the appointed times that Ho Theos declared.

The Feast Days occur during the barley, wheat, grape and olive harvests.

The Feast Days represent these important harvest times:
  1. Jesus was resurrected and received his glory body during the first fruits of the barley harvest.
  2. The Apostles received the Holy Spirit during the wheat harvest.  We will probably also receive the Holy Spirit during this time also.
  3. Those who conquer or overcome sin, by following the laws of Moses, will receive their glory body during the grape and olive harvest.

The Book of Revelations confirms that wheat and barley harvest had been completed since this harvest is being sold. It states that the oil and the wine must not be harmed.  This is because the final harvest happens when the olives and grapes are ripe.  The olives and the grapes are not to be harmed until the 144,000 of Ho Theos elected are sealed in chapter 7.  Isaiah confirms this when he prophesies about the judgement of the world.

Revelations 6:6 A quart of wheat for a denarius, and three quarts of barley for a denarius, and do not harm the oil and wine!”

Revelations 7:3 Do not harm the earth or the sea or the trees, until we have sealed the servants of our God on their foreheads.” And I heard the number of the sealed, 144,000, sealed from every tribe of the sons of Israel.

Isaiah 24:13 For thus it shall be in the midst of the earth among the nations, as when an olive tree is beaten, as at the gleaning when the grape harvest is done.

2017-2018 Spring Feast Days Overview

The spring feast days were fulfilled during the time of Jesus & we celebrate them in remembrance of him. Pentecost is only half fulfilled since we must also review the Holy Spirit.  The dates below are based on Universal time.  I now believe it is best to use America's timing since this is the New Jerusalem, here is a pdf link for 2017 America's Feast Day Schedule.  America will celebrate one day sooner than the dates below.  The dates below are based on universal time.  Here is a link to many biblical events based on the 2017 calendar.

Here is a really good recipe for barley unleavened bread (barley becomes ripe during this month).  I put fresh parsley in it to represent the bitter herbs.  We are always to use old grains since the Wave Sheaf must occur prior to the new harvest being used since it is approved of by the priest at that time.
